How to Boost Your Resolution and Fit More on Your Screen (Without Buying a New Monitor)

  3. Toggle Virtual Super Resolution to Enabled.
  4. Your screen might flicker briefly.
  5. Now, right-click your desktop and go to Display settings (Windows settings).
  6. Under "Display resolution," you will now see options higher than your monitor's native resolution (e.g., 2560x1440 or 3840x2160). Select one to apply it.

Once you have enabled this, text might look a bit small. You can adjust Windows Scaling (Display Settings > Scale) to find a sweet spot—maybe 125% or 150%—where you still have more room than before, but text is readable.
